For a band that I'd consider so integral or influential to the early punk/anarcho punk scene, Crass seems to be lost to time and overlooked by the current younger generation that's into punk today. I can't remember when I last saw a Cr@ss tee, patch, or stencil on a jacket, when those were otherwise rather common in the 80's/90's.

A lot of Crass fans were hippy punks,pretty far removed from metal and hardcore..but I DO blame them for crust...

By coincidence, Brian Walsby (prolific artist/cartoonist, ex-Scared Straight drummer) in a Crass tee working his merch table at the Melvin's gig last night.
